DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD THEY SHOULD DO UNTO YOU ~ inspiration from Nova Scotia, Canada ~ Ann Talbot
I loved walking by the old Governor Hotel when I lived in Portland, Oregon, and looking up at the powerful message engraved in stone. I have always tried to live by this Golden Rule, “Do Unto Others As You Would They Should Do Unto You.” I hope you find inspiration during these times, as I do. This photograph was taken in March 2011 - the Governor Hotel, designed by architect, William C. Knighton, and built in the early twentieth century is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is now the Sentinel Hotel, and houses the famous restaurant, Jake’s Grill.
